This gorgeous temple is spread over a large area of 70 acres and crafted with intricate jaali work of marble with over 20 small and large temples. This temple depicts the renowned versara style of architecture which is a fusion style of temple architecture, with South Indian temple plan with North Indian detailed craft.
The ‘Chattarpur Temple’ e is divided into three different complexes. The main complex is of goddess Katyayani and other complexes are dedicated to lord Rama, Ganesha and Shiva. The unique part of this spectacular temple is the main shrine of goddess Katyayani (Durga), which opens only during the Navratris twice a year. This is the time devotees come here to seek blessing alongwith their family.
There is another temple of goddess Durga which is open round the year and devotees can visit in both morning and evening. The devotees have immense faith of wish attainment so they tie the holy threads around the old tree which will welcome you right in the entrance of the temple.
